Image Specifications
PROCREATIVE DIGITAL IMAGING generate
images capable of being reproduced larger than A3 size in litho print*. Master
shots are always created in 16-bit RGB to allow for less data loss when making
adjustments such as contrast and colour.
Web Photography shots are taken on a white background without a cutout at a lower resolution (1000 x 1000 pixels) and supplied in RGB only, these are not suitable for print use. Shots are taken to bring out as much detail as possible so may result in an off-white background. Natural shadows as created by the lighting are left in the shot.
Client files are supplied in both 8-bit RGB and CMYK. We can supply the 16-bit RGB on request but these are generally of no use, unless you intend to do further high end adjustments such as montaging or retouching, and take up twice as much disk space.
We offer a range of Shooting Angles as part of our Cutout Photography service. We will always do our best to accommodate non-standard angles within our standard price structure if possible. All our standard images are shot 'all in focus' with a wide depth of field unless otherwise instructed as convincing cutouts are sometimes difficult. For unusual angles and selective focusing needs we suggest you refer to our Creative Photography service.

* Actual dimensions will vary depending on the size of the object to be photographed as some objects will not always fill the frame due to their shape or the need pull back to maintain sharp focus (this is because with small objects close focusing is reduced when using macro lenses).
** This is a 4MB file so it may
take a while if you do not have a broadband internet connection.
