Background Options
PROCREATIVE DIGITAL IMAGING can
provide images on a variety of custom backgrounds. From a range of standard
colours, to ribbed and textured papers. We also offer Metallic
surfaces and a selection of digitally created backgrounds for post-production
background replacement.
Backgrounds are charged at an extra cost per change of background so if you use one background on a whole session of shots you will only pay one charge.
Paper Backgrounds
A gallery of available paper backgrounds in plain and ribbed colours.
Special Backgrounds
A gallery of available special backgrounds such as handmade papers, metallic
surfaces and custom digital backgrounds for post-production replacement.
If you are using our Creative Photography service, simply choose from either section and any other special instructions such as unusual angles or focussing, or give us some idea of the type of result you are out to achieve and we will get creative.
You can also upgrade our Cutout Photography service to include a custom background, or add lighting FX. This may work out cheaper if you have a series of shots that share this setup or look as we only charge per change of setup, whereas Creative Photography is priced per shot.
For budget conscious web owners who only need screen resolution images without frills be sure to check out our Web Photography prices. Shots are taken on a white background without a cutout at a lower resolution (1000 x 1000 pixels) and supplied in RGB only, these are not suitable for print use. Shots are taken to bring out as much detail as possible so may result in an off-white background. Natural shadows as created by the lighting are left in the shot.
* Due to the selective focus
often apparent and lack of defined edges with Creative Photography shots
it may not always be possible to offer a cutout within these images. Products
with complex soft edges such as textile, fur or hair may be subject to
a surcharge at our hourly rates to cover the extra work to create cutouts.
